I loved (still do) the yarn from Sheep & Wool, but the patterns I tried didn't love me, so after 2 attempts at 2 different patterned scarves for dearest mommie, I'm switching plans for a while.
Instead, I shall knit some tiny Weasley sweaters for the niece, and my girls, then maybe an elf hat for some cute new elf (see prev post). I'm in love with my new Charmed Knits knitting book ... maybe if I get my mom hooked on Potter stuff, she'll let me knit her something from the book instead of a boring old lady scarf :)
I told a client a lie in an email, and as soon as I hit send to her, I cracked my knee just about as hard as possible. Punishment from God? Hmmmmmm. I think I'll remember the stupid lie everytime my knee hurts - along with every time I see the huge purple welt.
15 minutes 'til the end of mom's day. I'm ordering a new one for next weekend, since I spent this one cooking 2 of 3 meals, scooping dog poop, and fixing a broken freezer. Time for a Do-over!!! I want one with just as nice weather as it was today.
