We're in NM and today went downhill so far that I just wish I was home right now. Which is extra sad, b/c this morning I was raving to my parents about how wonderful and relaxing it is here. Step families and teens about sums up the disaster we're visiting.
So, um, if I had posted this morning, this would sound all different.
But HEY, I woke to a huge hot air balloon outside my window, a roadrunner on the roof, a jack rabbit hopping along the wall, and 3 hummingbirds in the tree by the pool. Now THAT'S some good vibes!!! :)
I'm planning to get up super early to catch a sunrise over the mountains tomorrow, and still stay up very late to catch the meteor showers!
Okay, Lilly's begging me to turn the lights off and in an effort to make me pay attention, she's rhyming loudly, including things that rhyme with venus. How embarrasing.

What is summertime without a little drama and intrigue? Soak up some rays, knit a little and take lots of pictures. No worries! I really did not know there really was such a thing as a roadrunner. Hopefully, you may get a picture before you go. See ya soon!
OMGosh, there was a roadrunner on the back porch this morning, and I snuck out after him and got lots of shots. Whoo hooo!!! :)
Yep, been knitting the rainbow sock, so far, just the first of 4 (2 kids, not for a 4-legged kid!)
